Reality TV Producer Carlos King Inks Deal With ITV America

by: Nellie AndreaThe Real Housewives of Atlanta and Hollywood Divas executive producer Carlos King has signed a pod deal with ITV America for his company Kingdom Reign Entertainment. Under the pact, Kingdom Reign Entertainment will become a production label under the ITV America umbrella, with King serving as president and reporting to ITV America Chief Creative Officer Adam Sher and Leftfield Entertainment CEO David George. King will develop and produce unscripted series across lifestyle, reality and other genres.
“Carlos has an expert eye for talent and the ability to identify fascinating worlds with diverse lifestyles and experiences that are relatable, aspirational and fun to watch,” said Sher and George in a joint statement. “He’s also a vibrant force of creativity and humor, which makes him a great partner.”
King has served as executive producer on a variety of series, including The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi’s Wedding, I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding, My Super Sweet 16 Featuring Lil Wayne & Reginae, Hollywood Divas, The Next :15 and Selling It In the ATL. He also served as co-executive producer on Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy… for the Wedding and as producer on Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes and the first two seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
“This is an amazing opportunity for Kingdom Reign to continue to bring viewers our brand of glossy content and expand into new genres of television, including documentaries and scripted, to best showcase multiple realities and unique perspectives,” King said.
ITV America includes the Leftfield Entertainment group (Leftfield Pictures, Sirens Media, Loud TV and Outpost Entertainment) as well as ITV Entertainment, Red Bandit Media, DiGa, Gurney Productions, High Noon Entertainment and Thinkfactory Media.
The deal was brokered by Ed Simpson, EVP, business development & international at ITV America. Kingdom Reign Entertainment is repped by CAA.
