Job Description

ITV Studios America is looking for a Financial Analyst to support ITVSA’s development and production labels. This position within the Finance team requires a capable General Ledger accountant as well experience with reporting and analysis. The role will interface with various teams within the department, such as Business Affairs and Creative, and will report to the Accounting Manager, Finance, ITV Studios America.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Maintain monthly reporting on actual and forecasted development costs on a project-by-project basis 
  • Key involvement with month-end close, including journal posting and producing monthly P&L’s for review by management
  • Reporting and analysis for overhead costs, particularly ITVSA’s slate of development projects on a monthly basis
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for review by management
  • Primary liaison for vendors and the business regarding overhead and development payments
  • Assisting in the 5-Year Plan/Budget/Forecast process by providing thorough overhead analysis 
  • Contribute towards internal and external audits by coordinating information requests 
  • Assist the tax department in their preparation of tax accounts by providing financial information
  • Read and analyze contracts for deals covering development and production projects
  • Perform ad hoc projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • On the pathway to CPA or already qualified preferred
  • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in Finance and/or Accounting within the entertainment industry
  • Strong background in General Ledger, Month End Close, US GAAP, Financial Reporting in a multi company environment
  • Experience in Oracle and/or large ERP experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and computer skills (Google Mail, Google Docs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

ITV Studios America is ITV Studios’ LA-based U.S. independent scripted television operation. The studio develops and produces scripted programming, based on original ideas or established IPs, for global exploitation across all platforms, and has been building a growing portfolio of projects in development and production with multiple broadcast and cable networks, and OTT services. 

ITV Studios America continues to expand its creative footprint and production pipeline under its “group” operational structure with strategic investments in creative “labels”: Tomorrow Studios (its JV with Marty Adelstein), Work Friends (a JV between Nick Weidenfeld and Tomorrow Studios), Bedrock Entertainment (its JV with Dan Sackheim and Tony To), and Circle of Confusion Television Studios (its JV with talent management and production company Circle of Confusion). ITV Studios’ scripted TV production output in North America currently includes SNOWPIERCER, PHYSICAL,and ONE PIECE from Tomorrow Studios, 10-YEAR-OLD TOM and CONQUEST from Work Friends and FRANKLIN from ITV Studios America.

Hybrid Work from Office/Home Disclaimer. While ITV remains committed to creating a flexible work environment, we believe that in person collaboration is key. The current requirement is that employees report to the office two (3) days per week, but that is subject to change at the sole discretion of the Company. 

 

The salary range for this role is  $80,000-$90,000 annually based on candidate experience and other factors. ITV offers full benefits including medical, vision, dental, paid time off, 401(k) match and more!
