Amanda Loh serves as executive vice president of business & legal affairs at ITV America. Loh handles negotiations, drafting, development, compliance, risk and safety, intellectual property matters, employment issues, policy and protocol creation, crisis management, prepublication review and litigation. She also advises senior management, acts as production counsel across all ITV America labels, and supervises the Rights & Clearances Department.
Prior to joining ITV America in 2016, Loh was an attorney in the Legal and Business Affairs Department of A+E Networks, where she was responsible for pre-broadcast content review of both unscripted and scripted television shows and Lifetime movies. She also served in a rights management role and handled content clearance issues with third party production companies, delivering content to A&E, History, Lifetime, LMN, H2 and FYI.
Loh was a summer associate in legal affairs at Walt Disney Studios’ Live Action Motion Picture Productions, where she worked on various scripted, live action motion pictures including Saving Mr. Banks. She clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, served as co-president of Georgetown Law’s Innocence Project, and was a student-attorney and investigator in Georgetown Law’s Criminal Justice Clinic, representing criminal defendant clients in federal court and parole hearings.
Loh is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and Georgetown University Law Center. She is a member of both the New York and California Bars.
