Karen Kunkel Young is Vice President of Programming at Loud TV and ITV Creative.
A seasoned showrunner, Kunkel Young brings extensive production experience to her programming slate, and since joining Loud TV/ITV Creative, has overseen successful formats including Tiny House Nation (FYI), Food Porn (FYI) and Help My Yelp (Food).
Prior to ITV America, her credits span 150 hours of programming and include titles such as Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style (Bravo), Restaurant Stakeout (Food) and Project Runway (Lifetime).
Kunkel Young began her career as a director at BBC NY Production, where she became the first American showrunner on the hit series Moving Up (TLC). Her other executive producer credits include Built (Style Network), Celebrity Holiday Homes (HGTV), Great American Food Finds (Food), Tough Cookies (Food), Iced with Sylvia Weinstock (WE) and Hungry Games (Food).
Kunkel Young is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication.
