About Heath Banks
Heath Banks serves as Chief Operating Officer for ITV Creative. In his role, Banks oversees all aspects of production operations for the ITV America companies, including current series, specials, pilots and development.
Prior to joining ITV Creative, Banks served as senior vice president of production for Pilgrim Media Group (then Pilgrim Studios) where he worked for eight years. While at Pilgrim, he produced Discovery’s long-running hit Dirty Jobs, for which he earned an Emmy nomination in 2008, and was integral in the development of History’s hit show Top Shot, among others. During his time at Pilgrim, Banks helped to create and implement efficiency systems that enabled the company to more than double in size.
Banks began his career in film, working as a coordinator and unit production manager on a wide range of big-budget studio and independent films, including X-Men; Love and Basketball; Anger Management; Hollywood Homicide; Win A Date With Tad Hamilton; When Do We Eat; and Their Eyes Were Watching God. His first film job was working on the 1998 MGM feature The Mod Squad.
Banks holds a B.A. in Radio/Television/Film from the University of North Texas.
