About Chris Valentini
Chris Valentini is Chief Operating Officer of ITV America, overseeing operations, production management and the strategic growth of the company.
Valentini brings to ITV America more than 30 years of experience as both a creative and business executive in the entertainment industry. Valentini joined Leftfield Pictures in 2010 and was instrumental in steering the company’s evolution into the Leftfield Entertainment group, established in 2013. Prior to joining Leftfield, Valentini was an Executive Producer at National Geographic Channel, overseeing such hits as Border Wars, Taboo, Drugs Inc. and Fight Science. He also was Vice President of Production at Hoff Productions, Tremendous Entertainment and Unapix Entertainment, creating and/or overseeing more than 500 hours of programming for networks including ABC, FOX, History, Discovery, National Geographic Channel and Travel Channel. Valentini is an Emmy and CableACE award-winning producer/director in the unscripted arena, with additional expertise in international distribution and film financing.
Valentini holds an undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University and a master’s of business administration from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
